About Cato Library

The Cato Library is the central hub for academic study and spiritual research at the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC). Named in honor of Willie Cato (image), a devoted supporter of Christian education in Nigeria, the library has long served as a vital resource for training ministers, teachers, and leaders in the Church of Christ.

The legacy of support from the Cato family continues today through Rita Cochrane, Willie Cato’s daughter, and her husband, Engineer Mike Cochrane. Together, they have played a key role in helping to raise funds for the ongoing remodeling and upgrading of the library facility-ensuring that it meets modern standards for comfort, structure, and digital access.

The remodeling project has also received strong backing from the African Christian Schools Foundation (ACSF) (logo), coordinated by Dr. Chad Wagner (image), whose leadership has been instrumental in expanding the college’s academic capacity.

With 24/7 power supply, the Cato Library offers students, staff, and alumni an uninterrupted environment for reading, research, and growth. It features a rich collection of books, online resources, sermon archives, and plans for an alumni access portal.

The Cato Library remains a symbol of NCBC’s commitment to equipping the Church through knowledge, truth, and godly leadership.

Library Hours & Membership Access
The Cato Library at the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) offers both physical and digital access to a wide range of academic and spiritual resources. To ensure secure and personalized service, all users access the library system using their registered email addresses.

Onsite Library Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed (available by appointment only)

Note: The facility is powered by a 24/7 electricity supply, ensuring uninterrupted access to study spaces and digital resources during operational hours.

All registered students, staff, and alumni will gain access to the NCBC Library Portal through a verified email login. This ensures a secure and unified system for all users.

2. Once verified, you will receive an activation email from the library system.
3. Visit the Library Portal Login Page on the NCBC website.
4. Use your email and password to sign in.
