He remained a member of the Management Committee for several years. During the period of his service of Nigerian Christian Bible College, he taught a number of courses at the ministerial and University programmes.

While in the United States he served as Head of Department of Social Sciences at South Western Christian College and as Professor of History. He also served at acting minister of Comb Street Church of Christ, Fayetteville Arkansas.
He is married to Imaobong T. Akpakpan and a father of four daughters.

He holds a Diploma in Theology from the prestigious Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom Abak, Akwa Ibom State; a certificate in Adult and Non-formal Education, a Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed) in Adult and Non-formal Education/Economics and a Master of Education (M.Ed) Degree in Community Development, all from the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Rivers State of Nigeria.
He joined the services of the Nigerian Christian Bible College in 2003 as an Academic Staff. By dint of hard work he has held various academic and administrative positions and has contributed immensely in improving the standard of Education in the College - Acting Head of Department, Education (2004-2006), Supervisor of Students’ Services (2004-2006), Coordinator of NCE Programme (2006-2009), Director of Academic Planning (2009-2018) and at present the Registrar, Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom, Abak. He is a Minister of the Gospel working for Campus Church of Christ, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and blessed with three children.

He holds a Diploma in Religious Education from the famous Nigerian Christian Bible College, Ukpom Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State; bagged a BA(Ed) in Religion and M.A In Philosophy of Religion all from the famous University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
He is a Jerusalem Pilgrim(JP) having travelled to Israel for pilgrimage.
Author of the Book DIVINE PHILOSOPHY ( An Exposition of the Book of Colossians). He is a Radio Analyst of contemporary issues and a television Evangelist. He is well travelled and exposed having attended learned Conferences in Zambia and Senegal. His sojourn has seen him visit South Africa, Egypt, Turkey and Palestine. Currently, he is the National Chairman of World Bible School Team Leaders, Nigeria; the State Vice Chairman, National Ministers' Forum, Akwa Ibom and a Chaplain Lieutenant with Royal Dew Chaplaincy Mission, Nigeria.
He is the Director, Ministerial Programme and Head of Department Arts all of the Nigerian Christian Bible College Ukpom Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

Uyai Joshua has been associated with N.C.B.C. since 1984. As a student – 1984-1986, He has served as a teacher, member of the Administrative committee, public Relations Officer, Field Representative. He is currently preaching at Church of Christ, Ikot Akpabio, Afaha Obong, Abak. He is married with Children.
While in the United States of America, he studied in North Eastern Christian College and Freed-Hardeman College in Tennessee, United States of America. Since his return from the United States he has worked for the Nigerian Christian Bible College for forty three (43) years. He is blessed with three children to God’s glory.
At NCBC, students not only earn their Diplomas, Advanced Diploma and Degrees but earn immense skills and knowledge, get practical training, develop their personality and professionalism, acquire ethical values, learn to work with others and become astute leaders.
In her efforts to contribute to the Nigerian Education sector through moulding first class citizens as scholars in the arts of ReligiousEducation,, The National Universities Commission (NUC) (the body charged with the responsibility of regulating University Education in Nigeria) approved two (2) degree programs for the College (Bachelor of Arts (BA), Education/Christian Religious Studies and Bachelor of Arts (BA) Religious Studies) to be supervised directly by the University of Calabar. In the light of the forgoing, it is important to reiterate that the College is listed in the Joint Admission and Matriculating Board (JAMB) Brochure (The body charged with regulating admissions of students into tertiary education) for interested candidates to select the College as their preferred Institution. The translation of this is that students who study with us will secure JAMB Admission letters directly and be mobilised for the mandatory National Youth Service Corpse (NYSC) program directly by the University of Calabar.
The University of Calabar is a university situated in Calabar, Cross River State, and south-south Nigeria. It is one of Nigeria's second-generation federal universities. The University of Calabar was a campus of the University of Nigeria until 1975. John Elliott designed the architecture. It was established by decree to fulfill this traditional mandate, its motto “Knowledge for Service”. The Vice Chancellor is Prof. Zana I. Akpagu. Prof. Florence Obi currently holds the position of DVC (Academic), and Prof. Ndifreke Udonwa DVC (Administration). The Registrar is Mr. Moses O. Abang. Mrs. Beatrice Igwe is the University Bursar, and Dr. (Mrs.) Nkoyo Edem is the University Librarian. The University of Calabar was one of the foremost Nigerian Universities to automate students' registration processes through the College Portal, and has taken a step further to automate her alumni relations which includes an online transcript request and processing first of its kind in the country. The male students are known as Malabites, while the female students are Malabresses. The male hostel is called Malabo. This was a result of challenges faced by the students at a time, which coincided with the suffering experienced in Malabo by Nigerian deportees from Equatorial Guinea (whose capital is Malabo) at the time.
What is more, we have competent and well-experienced Academics who are always at hand to give the students the core of their desire in line with the vision of producing the best hands from the College.
Beside our academic programs, The College has diversified into Agriculture and ICT in order to encourage students in entrepreneurial skills acquisition and make them venture into other areas of endeavours after graduation, which could generate additional income for them. Students may choose to learn poultry production in our huge poultry farm OR take advantage of the huge investment we have made in the ICT to acquire soft and professional skills.
Indeed, The Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC) is more than a name. It is a citadel for Academic Excellence.
